Our Mission is to offer meaningful, results-oriented information to today’s healthcare executives through the use of value-added Decision Support Software and Consulting services, which will help hospitals grow, prosper, and sustain longevity.

Our Hypothesis

From our perspective, there was a need for something that didn’t exist. The types of reports we wanted to run, the data we wanted to provide to hospitals was limited based on the hospital's Decision Support System. We recognized that the Decision Support Systems on the market were developed by programmers, not the end-user, and although they were fine, we have never been the type of company to accept “just good enough”. Our clients needed something more dynamic, more accurate, with flexibility, and real-life application. So this was our conundrum.

Through developing a system that refines the data before it's used for reporting, we knew we could fill a void, and offer our clients a more accurate view of their respective hospitals. We decided to assemble a team of the best developers with the best healthcare financial professionals. These folks were smart, and when we all put our collective wisdom together, we knew we were on to something totally unprecedented.  We created what is now known as the HALCYON Decision Support System.

Our Approach

This allows hospitals to get a view of their enterprise unlike they've ever seen, so decision-making is based on complete and accurate information, helping to maintain profitability and longevity. Utilizing the latest software, database, internet, and security technologies HWC fills the “information void” that results from a hospital’s use of “standardized computer software” and captures revenue that would otherwise be lost if our systems were not in place.
